Waters Cat Rescue & Sanctuary is a 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue group in Savannah, GA dedicated to improving the lives of all surrendered, stray, and feral cats in our community. We do not have an Adoption Facility or Sanctuary (yet!), so we depend on our dedicated foster network to continue our work.
We can’t succeed alone and need the support of our community to make a significant impact. Learn more about our work and how you can get involved with our mission by fostering, donating, or volunteering!
Our rescue is based solely out of foster homes in Savannah, GA. Because of our dedicated foster network, we have been able to help rescue over 300 cats since we began our work in 2018. Contact us to learn more about how you get involved with fostering and saving lives.
One of our main goals is to expand our efforts of trapping, neutering, and returning community and feral cats. Within the last few years, our TNR efforts have helped to spay and neuter hundreds of cats in the Savannah area and reduce the population of ferals and strays in our community. Reach out to learn more about how you can get involved in TNR work in your area.
Above all, our mission is to rescue as many cats as possible within our area. Whether it is through fostering, adopting, or TNR, the welfare of the cats in our community is always our top priority. We work tirelessly to help our stray, feral, and surrendered cats have the best lives possible. To date, we have had nearly 300 cats adopted from our rescue.
Cats are available for adoption at our Fosters.
Adoption fees include: Spay/Neuter Surgery, Feline FIV/FeLV Combo Test, Feline 1-HCPCh Vaccine, Rabies vaccination (if over 3 months old), Flea prevention, General de-wormer for intestinal parasites, and Microchip with registration on national database.
